It is true 2012 is just another movie about Armageddon that fulled with CG, but a huge produce like these always contains interesting metaphors.

I'm looking forward to someone to figure all the metaphors out, it will be certainly fun.

forgive me my dear, it's because the tiredness not my dislike of this movie.
